The cheapest route is always shown first

Routes are ranked purely by their computed 36-month total — never by whether we earn a commission on them. If the cheapest option for your household doesn't pay us anything, it still ranks first. We don't hide, downrank, or bury non-affiliate routes to steer you toward ones that do.

How to tell which links are affiliate links

Any "See this deal at [Carrier]" button that earns us a commission is labeled as an affiliate link directly beneath the button, on the same card, without needing to expand anything. Links marked this way use rel="sponsored nofollow". A carrier we don't have an affiliate relationship with yet still gets a plain link straight to their plans page — we'd rather send you there than not show you the option.

Where our numbers come from

Every price and fee shown traces to a specific data row with a source and a verification date. Rows we haven't independently verified yet are marked "Estimate." We never invent a number to fill a gap — if we don't have real data for a route, we either mark it as an estimate with a stated assumption, or leave it out.
