FCC filing compliance
Every carrier is legally required to publish a Broadband Facts label — a standardized disclosure of its plan price, provider-imposed fees, and data allowances, filed with the FCC. Wherever we can, we source a carrier's plan price and provider fees directly from that label rather than its marketing page.
Why this matters
A carrier's advertised price and its FCC-disclosed price don't always match — the label is what the carrier discloses under penalty of regulatory action, so we treat it as the more reliable number. When a provider fee isn't disclosed anywhere we can find, we say so instead of assuming it's $0. See how we calculate this for the full formula.
Corrections
If a figure here doesn't match a carrier's current FCC filing, tell us at hello@carriermath.com and we'll fix it.
